Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: June 15, 2025

At Casino Days, we believe that gambling should be an enjoyable and entertaining experience. We are committed to providing a safe, fair, and responsible gambling environment for all of our players. This Responsible Gaming Policy ("Policy") forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Commitment

We take responsible gambling seriously and have embedded it at the core of how we operate. Our commitment includes:

  • Providing a suite of voluntary tools to help players manage their gambling activity;
  • Training our customer support team to recognise and respond to signs of problem gambling;
  • Enforcing strict age verification to prevent underage gambling;
  • Maintaining a clear and accessible self-exclusion process;
  • Partnering with established organisations that provide free and confidential support to those affected by problem gambling;
  • Ensuring that promotional activity is conducted in a socially responsible manner and does not target vulnerable individuals.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward gambling by minors and toward the exploitation of vulnerable players. If at any time you feel that your gambling is becoming a problem, we urge you to use the tools available in your Account or to contact our support team at [email protected].

2. Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect people of any age, background, or income level. It may develop gradually over time and is often difficult for the individual to recognise. The following checklist may help you identify whether gambling is becoming a concern. Ask yourself honestly:

  1. Do you find yourself spending more money or time gambling than you originally planned?
  2. Have you ever gambled with money that was meant to cover essential expenses, such as rent, bills, or groceries?
  3. Have you attempted to reduce or stop gambling but found it difficult or impossible to do so?
  4. Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not able to gamble?
  5. Have you lied to family members, friends, or others about how much time or money you spend gambling?
  6. Have you borrowed money or sold possessions in order to fund your gambling activities?
  7. Do you continue to gamble in order to try to recover money that you have previously lost (commonly known as "chasing losses")?
  8. Has gambling caused significant problems in your personal relationships, work life, or financial situation?
  9. Do you feel a compulsive urge to gamble, even when you know it is causing harm?
  10. Have you ever thought about or attempted to engage in illegal activity in order to finance gambling?

If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, you may be experiencing problem gambling. We strongly encourage you to reach out to one of the support organisations listed in Section 6 of this Policy or to use one of the player protection tools described in Section 3.

3. Player Protection Tools

We offer a comprehensive range of tools to help you stay in control of your gambling. All tools are available free of charge through your Account settings or by contacting our support team.

3.1 Deposit Limits

You can set a limit on the total amount you are permitted to deposit into your Account over a defined time period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once a deposit limit is in place:

  • Requests to decrease a deposit limit take effect immediately;
  • Requests to increase a deposit limit are subject to a seven (7) day cooling-off period before the new limit takes effect.

3.2 Loss Limits

You can set a cap on the net amount you are permitted to lose over a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). The same immediate-decrease and delayed-increase rules apply as for Deposit Limits.

3.3 Wagering / Spend Limits

A wagering limit restricts the total amount you are permitted to wager within a given period, regardless of wins and losses. This tool is particularly useful for managing the pace of your play.

3.4 Session Time Limits

You can set a maximum duration for individual gaming sessions. When your session time limit is reached, you will be prompted with a notification and your session will be automatically closed unless you actively choose to extend it. We recommend setting session time limits as part of your regular gambling routine.

3.5 Reality Check Notifications

Reality check notifications are periodic reminders that appear on your screen during gameplay, informing you of how long you have been playing and the net result of your session. You can set the frequency of these reminders in your Account settings.

3.6 Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period is a short-term break from gambling. You may request a cooling-off period of between 24 hours and 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, you will not be able to make deposits or place wagers. You will also be excluded from promotional communications. A cooling-off period becomes effective immediately upon request and cannot be reversed before it expires.

3.7 Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a longer-term measure for players who feel they need a significant break from gambling. You may self-exclude for a minimum period of six (6) months, with options extending up to five (5) years or permanently. During self-exclusion:

  • Access to your Account is suspended;
  • You will not receive any marketing or promotional communications from us;
  • We will take reasonable steps to prevent new Account registration using the same details;
  • Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period has elapsed;
  • Any real-money Balance will be returned to you following standard withdrawal procedures.

To activate self-exclusion, please contact our support team at [email protected] or navigate to the Responsible Gaming section of your Account. We will process your request promptly.

3.8 Account Closure

At any time, you may request the permanent closure of your Account. Permanent closure is distinct from self-exclusion in that it is intended to be a final termination of your relationship with us. Please contact [email protected] to request permanent Account closure.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

We encourage all players to adopt the following habits to keep gambling enjoyable and under control:

  • Set a budget before you play and stick to it — only gamble with money you can afford to lose;
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover from financial difficulties;
  • Set time limits for each session and take regular breaks;
  • Do not chase losses — accept that losses are a normal part of gambling and resist the urge to recover them immediately;
  • Avoid gambling under the influence of alcohol, prescription drugs, or other substances that may impair your judgement;
  • Do not gamble when emotional — gambling while stressed, depressed, or upset often leads to poor decision-making;
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities to maintain perspective;
  • Take advantage of our protection tools — deposit limits, session timers, and reality checks are there to support you;
  • Talk to someone — if you feel gambling is becoming a problem, speak openly with a friend, family member, or professional.

5. Protection of Minors

We are fully committed to preventing minors from accessing our gambling services. The minimum age to register and use Casino Days is 18 years in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, and 19 years in all other Canadian provinces and territories. All Players are required to verify their age as part of the KYC process before any deposits or withdrawals can be processed.

If you share a device with minors, we strongly recommend taking the following precautions:

  • Always log out of your Account when not in use;
  • Use password-protection features on your device;
  • Consider using parental control software to restrict access to gambling websites.

The following tools can assist parents and guardians in restricting minors' access to online gambling content:

If you believe that a minor has gained access to a gambling Account, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate the matter promptly and take appropriate action, including closing the Account and refunding any deposits made.
